Description

Seal MasterCret is a smooth pore sealer, ready to be use made up of acrylic resin and waterproof additives on a watery base, suitable for the consolidation and the sealing of pores while doing cement, concrete, plaster, wood or microcement coating. Its purpose is the eliminate the absorption form the surfaces.

Its main characteristics are:

• Full sealing of the pore over the surface where it’s been applied.
• Helps the beginning of the water-repellence.
• It does no impede the transpiration of the surface.
• To enhance the aesthetic finishing where it’s been applied and the marbling of the microcement.
• Removes completely the absorption of the surfaces.
• Allows the later application of any kind of varnish or of the polyurethane bi-component CIMENTART attaining a better coverage of the product and making unnoticeable the roller joints.

Surfaces

Seal MasterCret Primer is suitable specially to be applied over absorbent surfaces, vertical and horizontal, indoors and outdoors.

• Expiration 1 year on its hermetically sealed container. Once open or deluded use in the moment or in the few next days.

Surface preparation

The surfaces must be dry and free from grease, oil, dissolvent or release agents.

Defective parts on the surface must be rehabilitated prior to the application of Seal MasterCret. 

Once the application of the surface either plaster, cement, concrete or microcement is finalized and these have completely expelled its internal humidity and are fully dry, the application of Seal Mastercret should be started.

In the case of plaster, filler or microcement walls, before the application of Seal MasterCret these should be sand and vacuum to achieve smooth and without imperfections surfaces. 

Application method

Apply directly with a short hair roller, brush or airless spray, in an orderly fashion, a well extended layer covering all the surface and without leaving puddles. It allows to do crosshatching on the surface being treated. On surfaces that have a high level of absorption, apply a second layer. 

Disolution

The product is provided ready to be use, dissolution is not recommended.

Efficiency

With 1 kg of Seal MasterCret you can obtain an approximate coverage from 7 to 10 m2, depending of the porosity of the surface, been recommended 1 layer for surfaces that do not receive water and 2 layers for surfaces that are directly exposed to water (showers, kitchen and bathrooms countertops, outdoor terraces, etc.) 

Safety and hygiene

Seal MasterCret is a dissolvent and bleach free product and therefore doesn’t require especial cares. Use individual protective equipment and legal rules for safety at work. 

Cleaning

The cleaning of the tool been use can be done with water.

Packaging

Seal MasterCret is presented on recipients of 1 Kg and 5 Kg.

Recommendation

• Do not use Seal MasterCret over surfaces with capillary humidity. 
• Do not apply Seal MasterSet if there is too much airflow or strong sun exposure. 
• Tn he case of concrete or cement mortars, wait a minimun of 30 days before its application, to assure the total forged ofthese.
• Do not add more water, dissolvent or other products in amounts that are no recommended as this can affect is efficiency.
